Primary Care Networks

A Primary Care Network, is a group of doctors that have chosen to work together to provide better services of quality care for patients. It is in line with the government’s 5 year forward plan and their 10 year forward plan.

We worked with out patient participation group chair to help chose which group to join. We decided that our patients would benefit the most from an alliance with the UNITED HEALTHCARE PCN. So we have joined them. We are now able to offer appointments between 6.30 pm and 8 pm on weekdays at various local hubs. We will try to become a hub ourselves in 2020 so that patients can use the service in the comfort of their own practice and see their own GP.
